The Job Developer is responsible for conducting outreach and establishing relationships with local employers. This will include identifying the employment needs and opportunities with program participants. Develop long:term relationships with employers, understand their hiring needs to match job seeker skillsDevelop relationship with community partners (not:for:profits, colleges, Chambers of Commerce, training organizations, etc.) in order to develop relationships with employers, close skill gaps, to meet the goal of finding work for job seekers and meet the needs of employersWork with customers to access government:sponsored programs and receive program services Educate customers on program services and eligibility requirements; Monitor job seekers performance by establishing a feedback loop with employers.Think and act strategically by identifying employers who have multiple open positions that offer job seekers a path to long:term employment and self:sufficiency.Develop relationships with hiring managers within employers to develop exclusive partner opportunities where MAXIMUS become the A?go:toA? staffing agency with employers.Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate job fairs and employer seminarsWork with customers to meet and achieve program goals and maintain program services and eligibility Assist customers with acquiring services that facilitate program goals (e.g., educational and/or vocational training, and other related needs) Follow:up with customers to ensure that their needs are met and questions and concerns are resolvedUnderstand labor market, labor market trends, and available community resourcesPerform other duties as assigned Local Territory Travel requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelorA?s degree from an accredited college or university preferred At least (3) years of staffing sales, recruiting, job development, workforce or job placement programs experience requiredProficient in the use of Microsoft Office productsExcellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform comfortably in a fast:paced, deadline:oriented work environmentAbility to work as a team member, as well as independentlyExcellent selling skills and communication skills and the ability to create and coordinate job fairs and employer seminars; Ability to meet goals and targetAbility to coach job seekers and develop strategies for long:term job placementWork is constantly performed in an office environmentA committed and diverse workforce is our most important resource.MAXIMUS is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.MAXIMUS provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disabled status.
